Magnetic Plates are designed for use in chutes and suspension over a conveyed product. Installed on the bottom side of a chute, a Magnetic Plate will provide maximum protection as product travels through the powerful magnetic circuit. The magnetic field projects from the face of the Magnetic Plate reaching into the product stream and pulling the ferrous contaminants to the magnet face. The magnetic field on a Magnetic Plate is strongest at the surface and gets weaker the further you move away.

Magnetic Plates are widely used for removing Tramp iron such as Bolts, Nuts, Bits of Wire, Nails and other casual contamination from free-flowing materials to protect against occasional damage to the plant caused by bits of iron.
